Tampa Real Estate and Military Relocation to MacDill AFB? What is the Best Neighborhood for YOU?

THE LATEST NEWS ON THE TAMPA REAL ESTATE MARKET, BUYING A HOME IN TAMPA, SEARCHING FOR TAMPA REAL ESTATE AND REAL ESTATE ISSUES AROUND THE WORLD, EVERY DAY, ON THE REAL ESTATE SIZZLE.

Tampa is home to MacDill Air Force Base, which includes Central CommandCentcom. The entire Tampa Bay area is filled with military families from all branches, as well as civilians who are employed as military consultants. In the past week, I have had several inquiries from Military families who have new orders to MacDill Air Force Base and have contacted me to help with their home search in Tampa.

I have relocated many military families to Tampa in the past 14 years, and they always ask about the best neighborhood to live in. The answer? It depends. Families with children are often on a budget and need a combination Boxes_moveof larger homes, good school districts and reasonable prices. Most families dont want to commute more than 30 40 minutes to get to MacDill AFB, so that narrows their focus to Westchase, New Tampa or the Brandon, Valrico, Riverview areas.

For those with smaller families, singles, or couples, they may want to live close to the base in South Tampa. Housing prices are higher, but offer many options with condos, townhomes and single-family homes in historic neighborhoods. Living in South Tampa keeps them close to the base, as well as downtown Tampa, and just minutes to the airport.

    I really love reading about other places around the world and how others work and what information that they give out to potential buyers and you really source out everything making sure that you have every detail in place of that area which is just great. I really am loving coming here and learning more about Tampa. :smile:
