More Tampa Neighborhoods in the Plant High District…Parkland Estates is a Great Place to Live in Tampa!

Yesterday, I started the Plant High School District Neighborhoods series with an article on New Suburb Beautiful.

Parklandestateshouse1Today, we will  chat about another popular South Tampa neighborhood called Parkland Estates. With larger lots and quiet, tree lined streets, Parkland Estates is located just north of New Suburb Beautiful, bordered by Morrison and Swann Avenues. On the east side of MacDill Avenue, you will find Golfview, a similar neighborhood, located on the North side of Palma Ceia Country Club, a private golf and country club.

A mix of older homes built in the 1920s to 1940s, along with many newer homes, you will find a nice choice of Traditional and Mediterranean Styles. Prices range from the $500,000s to several million for estate-sized homes, or golf course lots. Parkland Estates and Golfview are convenient to Downtown Tampa, MacDill Air Force Base and Tampa International Airportthey are each less than 10 minutes away!

    Hey Jackie,

    Great post. I find sellers less likely to negotiate on price unless they feel the backlash from the days on market. Usually a seller isn’t really motivated to sale their home until they have too and their home has sat on the market for over 120 days.

    That when reality sets that let them know that they product isn’t as great as they thought. Its sad the market has beat the people up for them to realize.

    I like your tenacity and look forward to coming back an viewing more of your blogs.

    I’m moving to Tampa next year Easter and looking for a property, you seem to have highlighted some really important issues in your previous blogs. Will be sending an email across to clarify some question, i bet the US is different from the UK in terms of real estate.
